About Us
The International Learning Centers (ILC) were established on November 26, 2001, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our mission is to provide high-quality educational opportunities that serve as a catalyst for progress and development in nations around the world.
What began in 1993 with a single center in Azerbaijan has grown into a global network. Today, we operate seven active centers across six nations, with representatives in two additional countries. While our roots are in education, our vision has evolved to meet the complex needs of the communities we serve.
Empowering Communities We believe that sustainable change requires more than just classroom learning. We have expanded our focus to include community-based economic development and local capacity building. By equipping individuals with vocational skills and professional English, we empower them to access global markets, create local jobs, and build resilient economies from the ground up.
Crisis Resilience Beyond long-term development, ILC is committed to immediate humanitarian support. Our leadership includes Certified First Responders trained in critical incident response. This allows us to provide rapid, expert assistance during emergencies, ensuring that the communities we serve have a foundation of safety and support in times of crisis.
Join Our Mission We offer diverse opportunities for volunteers from all backgrounds to serve as instructors or support staff. Whether you are a professional educator or a fluent English speaker looking to make a difference, there is a place for you here. Contact us today to learn how you can help us build a more capable, connected, and resilient world.
